North Sea series #100 Ameland
It may not always be great weather at the beach, but for the colors and beautiful cloud cover, autumn is my favorite time of year. It is showy today and between the showers it is possible to paint the beach, the walkers and the sea with the beautiful cloudscapes. A ray of sunlight illuminates the sea almost unnaturally beautifully, and as a plein air painter you really get carried away. Gorgeous.
