In the month January I've painted many coast scenes (sea- and beachscapes) from the Dutch North seas coast in many different situations with rain, sun and cloudy weather.
This artwork: an approaching rain shower creates a beautiful spectacle with light and color. The clouds get an almost unnatural color because of the sunlight that is reflected by the sea.
A quick acrylic sketch on a canvas sheet, which I stuck to an MDF panel in my studio. A beautiful colorful and exciting artwork.
