This amazing painting shows the beautiful landscape of Snowdonia in a style all its own. Wim van de Wege has managed to create his own handwriting in recent years. His paintings are composed of many layers of paint, sometimes as many as 30 thin layers, creating a dynamic and special world on the canvas or panel. This way of working creates an abstract-expressionist lively scene you never tire of. After years, there is plenty of room to still discover new elements in the artwork.

The painting was created after two weeks of painting in Wales, where Wim worked hard to develop this new series.
